Sermons

My primary role at Memorial Road has been in adult education, but I’ve been part of our preaching team. Here’s a recent sermon.

At the beginning of the sermon, I refer to a fun video we made several months ago. As a fan of late night comedy, I’m quite proud of the finished product.

Teaching

Like most churches, we expanded our online worship and learning opportunities over the past few years. I taught an online version of our Sunday Bible class lessons for several months. Here’s a sample lesson in a series we did on Ezra-Nehemiah.

Podcast

For much of 2021-2022, I produced a bi-weekly podcast called “Reading the Bible Responsibly.” Each episode is a bite-sized (7-10 minutes) deep dive into one particular verse or topic in scripture. I had plans to resume it for this fall, but I was focused on praying and discerning this new ministry opportunity with you.
